Siestas are better in Mexico!

It felt good to sleep in this morning...and then take a siesta... I'm exhausted. We've been going nonstop since we got here but we're finally getting a break this weekend, since there's a hurricane off the coast and it's cold and rainy. I'm surprised how cool Mexico has been, even before the hurricane. It may be about the same as North Carolina in the summer but feels cooler, since it's not very humid here. At first I was uncomfortable wearing jeans during the day, but I'm getting used to the climate. There's not much air conditioning in Mexico but when I walk into a room with air conditioning, I freeze. And at night, it gets really cold. Jeans and a hoodie are always necessary.

Like I said, we didn't do much of anything today. The Eurocup is going on right now and everyone is going crazy over that, so I watched the game today. Everytime I'm walking downtown with friends we have to stop at every restaurante that has a tv and look at the score. I thought I knew soccer before I came here but I was wrong...I'm learning though! The most important thing? If you're talking to Mexicans about soccer, Argentina is always bad. Haha
